MicroBT is a Chinese ASIC miner manufacturer known for the WhatsMiner line. The company has been in business since 2016 and currently ranks second by number of SHA-256 models. Its machines are valued for durable power supplies and tolerance of an unstable grid, so they are often installed where it is hot and the power is far from ideal. The range includes air and hydro versions, and the current M60 and M70 series run from 13 to 19 joules per terahash. There is less custom firmware for WhatsMiner than for Antminer, but basic repair and spare parts are available.
