Antminer L11 firmware: in development

Asic Boost firmware for Antminer L11

STATUS Antminer L11 · in development · Scrypt · 20 GH/s · 3680 W

There is no Asic Boost build for the Antminer L11 yet, it is still in development. As soon as the build is stable and has passed testing on real hardware, the file will appear on this page. Until then, here is what is known about the miner itself and what the firmware will bring.

  • 20 GH/s stock hashrate
  • 3680 W power draw
  • Scrypt: LTC and DOGE

Firmware in development

Asic Boost for the Antminer L11 has not been released yet. We are waiting for a stable build and testing it on hardware before we publish the file. Message support and we will let you know when it is out. Firmware for the Antminer L7 and L9 is already available.

Antminer L11 and Asic Boost firmware

The Antminer L11 is a Bitmain Scrypt miner for Litecoin and Dogecoin. Stock hashrate is 20 GH/s at around 3680 W, which works out to roughly 184 J/G. Air cooling with four fans, RJ45 networking, 220 to 277 V input.

Asic Boost is custom firmware for Bitmain miners. It replaces the stock firmware and adds overclocking, undervolting, per-chip autotune, power profiles and a web panel with monitoring. No such build exists for the L11 yet, so we are not quoting gain figures for this model: those can only be given after testing.

What the firmware will add on the L11

  • Overclocking: chip frequencies above factory limits and higher hashrate.
  • Undervolting: fewer watts per unit of hash.
  • Per-chip autotune: frequency and voltage tuned for each chip, with fewer hardware errors.
  • Power profiles: eco, stock and overclock, switching automatically by temperature.
  • Web panel: hashrate, temperatures, fan speeds and a chip map in real time.
  • Fleet-wide install and configuration through HashCore Toolkit.
  • Flexible pool setup and merged mining of LTC and DOGE.
  • Built-in antivirus and SSH access control.

On the Scrypt models already released, the L7 and L9, the developer fee is 2%.

FAQ about firmware for the Antminer L11

When will firmware for the Antminer L11 be released?

There is no exact date. The build will appear on this page as soon as it passes testing. Message support and we will tell you when it is out.

Can I flash L9 firmware onto an L11?

No. A build is tied to the model and to the control board type. A file from another model will not work: the miner will reject it, and in the worst case it will stop booting.

Which Scrypt models are already supported?

The Antminer L7 and L9. Builds for them are released and each has its own page in the firmware section.

What will the firmware add on the L11?

Overclocking, undervolting, per-chip autotune, power profiles and a web panel with monitoring. Concrete gain figures will follow testing on this model.

Will it still be possible to go back to stock firmware?

Yes. On Bitmain miners the rollback to stock is done from the miner menu in one step.
