01Who he is and what he does
Denys Klimchuk was born in 1981 in Moldova. At eighteen he started fixing mobile phones, later he opened the CDMA CLUB service centre. The approach has stayed the same since: a meter tells you more than a guess.
In 2017 he switched to mining hardware. A year later he moved to Kyiv and opened the ASIC CLUB service centre, where he repaired Antminer hash boards and power supplies. In 2022 he moved to Spain, to Valencia, and a year later was repairing miners again, this time here. In 2026 he founded ASIC MINER SLU. The company site is asic.es.
He works with what sits behind the web panel: frequencies and voltages per chip domain, autotuning, how a board behaves under load. Factory spec numbers say little here. The real picture comes from the miner log and the hash board sensors an hour into the run, once everything is hot.
AsicBoost is his firmware brand for Bitmain Antminer, and he develops it alone: architecture, builds for each model, the web panel, autotuning. The catalogue holds more than 45 models of the S19, S21, T19, T21 and L7 series on two algorithms, SHA-256 and Scrypt. The developer fee is 2.8 percent for any model and any mode.
Electricity in Spain is expensive, and that shapes the workshop: a machine at around 30 J/Th is worth optimising rather than running as is. The firmware has one job here: pull more hashrate out of the iron already in the rack, on the same kilowatt. Repair experience matters more than programming experience for that. Anyone who has seen a hash board after a year at limit frequencies sets autotuning numbers more carefully.
Besides the firmware he handles the technical side of the shop: he checks machines before shipping, works through failures, writes the documentation. The guides on unlocking the AML board over UART, the decoding of Antminer logs, the manufacturer write-ups and the chip tables on the site were written by him. He runs support himself on Telegram, with no call centre and no ticket system. Videos go on YouTube.

04Official security guarantees for AsicBoost software
The firmware goes onto the machine with full rights and runs unattended for months. The question "what is inside" is a fair one. I answer it in my own name.
- As the sole developer and brand owner of AsicBoost, I take personal reputational and technical responsibility for every line of code in all official releases of our software.
- The software is distributed with closed source code (proprietary) for the sole purpose of protecting intellectual property, safeguarding our energy-efficiency algorithms, and preventing malicious third parties from creating dangerous modifications that could damage the hardware.
- All official files available for download on the asic.es domain undergo rigorous testing, are digitally signed, and feature verified checksums (SHA-256) in the downloads section. The code is completely free of undocumented functions or malware. The development fee (DevFee) is strictly fixed at 2.8 percent, transparent, and fully visible to the user.
How to check the file before installing
You do not have to take my word for it, the hash takes five seconds. Download the build from your model page, compute the sum and compare it with the one printed next to the link. If it does not match, the file came from somewhere else. Do not install that one.
